It's hard to believe my first semester is almost over. I feel quite a bit of satisfaction - mainly because it took me three tries and two and a half years, but I finally did it. 

Of course, I'd have liked straight A's. But this semester was more about re-learning how to learn, especially with a different set of medical circumstances. It takes a lot more repetition to remember much information than it did a few years ago. I have to involve as many senses as possible, and sometime's it gets frustrating. But I'm learning how to work with what I've got, and I'm pretty proud of that. 

I'm excited to see where this Advertising major takes me. It's really cool to already be able to apply a lot of things I learned this semester to my existing photography business. 

Not a lot of freshmen can say they already have their own business, so I could myself very fortunate.

I love learning and I'm so grateful that I finally got the chance to get back into furthering my education.
